The school year is almost done and yet we still have so many great teachers to honor! We took entries from Magic listeners and we are excited to congratulate our teacher for March in the 2012-2013 school year... Mrs. Debbie Grant who teaches 4th graders at Mauldin Elementary School. Read the nominating letter and see why we found this teacher to be Magic!

This is our son's first year at Mauldin. We came from a local private school where our son was in a classroom of 8 children. His fourth grade classroom has 27 children, and we thought, "oh my, how will this transition go?". But our fears were immediately squashed. Mrs. Debbie Grant, our son's new teacher made not him feel welcome, but us as well. Debbie goes above and beyond every single day. She is such a wonderful teacher and our son is learning so much in her classroom. I have volunteered in her classroom and the children are amazing, very respectful, and LOVE Mrs. Grant!! Debbie is always there if we have questions and makes us feel as if we are a parent/teacher team, which is very comforting. So please consider Debbie Grant, Fourth grade teacher at Mauldin Elementary as "A Teacher Who Makes Magic" because she truly does!!! Thank you!
Deserving indeed! Check out the video of Mrs. Grant getting her award!
